The lumbar support belt offers a high level of comfort at the same time as offering firm and adjustable support.  It is suitable for providing back protection when you find yourself in positions where back strain occurs such as driving, operating machinery, sitting for long periods.  For other activities such as heavy manual work involving lifting and continual twisting you might consider a more substantial lumbar support belt.

The belt is suitable for men and women.  However, as a relatively light-weight belt it is most suited to people of a lighter frame (ie. up to approx. 10 stone in weight).  For those people of a heavier frame, you might consider our Neoprene Lumbar Support Brace, which is of similar design but more substantial construction.

This belt is similar in basic design to our Neoprene Lumbar Support Belt, but is wider and offers more substantial lumbar support. 

It features a reinforced back panel, within which 4 removeable flexible stays are inserted. It also has double-pull neoprene tension straps with which to increase the level of tension and support that the belt is able to offer. It is particularly useful where a higher level of support is required, but where good mobility is also needed.  Its neoprene construction ensures a good level of heat retention, assisting the recovery of existing injury.  

The belt is suitable for use in everyday situations such as driving, shopping, housework and so on, where support is required but the activity not overly restricted.  

However for activities involving heavier work involving twisting and lifting such as when undertaking gardening, diy or other manual activities, this belt does not provide sufficient support.  For support when undertaking more stressful activities we would advise you to consider a more substantial belt, such as the Special Protectors® Industrial Support Belt and/or  the Deluxe Neoprene Back Support.  You will find both these belts in this section.

This is a well made lumbar support belt  that offers the added benefit of magnetic therapy.   Constructed of  a durable polyester cotton blend, the belt offers a high level of  comfort, support and protection to the lumbar spine.  

The belt contains 20 strategically placed special magnets, each of 1000/1100 gauss*, sewn into lining. The magnetic field created by the 8 M+ Unipole magnets is designed for deep penetration. This is different from the conventional bi-polar north/south configuration found in standard household magnets.

The belt is made of  a combination of neoprene, polyester,  and rubber. This results in a belt  which has a degree of stiffness that allows a high level of support within a fairly narrow band around the lumbar spine.  This allows for the high level of mobility required in sport, while still offering good support and protection to the lower spine.

The Elasticated Abdominal Binder is made of a soft material,  consisting of a combination of multi-panel cotton/rayon lined knit elastic joined with strong nylon thread and nylon brush/cotton laminate.  It is light-weight, and wider than most of our other lumbar belts. 

The binder offers gentle all-round support to the lumbar region and abdomen areas, while also allowing good ventilation.  It is intended for use mainly to provide support in and around the home.  It will help in maintaining posture, thereby reducing back-ache when sitting, standing, and also when undertaking light manual tasks such as hoovering.
